Koei Tecmo’s Nioh Has Gone Gold, Live Stream Planned for Jan. 20th

By Keith MitchellJanuary 16, 2017

Nioh, Koei Tecmo’s upcoming action RPG title, has just gone gold! So that’s pretty much it, the hard part is over. Or is it? While the game is basically ready to be shipped, the release date isn’t for another few weeks. We’re still going to have to wait until February 7th, in North America that is.

There’s also a live stream for Nioh, which is planned for January 20th, 2017. You can watch this via YouTube here at 10 PM JST/8 AM EST.

But if you can’t wait, Polygon has posted 35 minutes of new gameplay footage. You can see that footage below.

I don’t know about you, but I’m hyped. I loved the two Nioh betas, all of which had sold me on the game. Didn’t hurt that I’m a Dark Souls fiend, but I suppose that’s a good thing.

C’mon February 7th, hurry up and get here!
