Ubisoft Gives Us A New Peek Into South Park The Fractured But Whole

By Aaron SandersDecember 7, 2016

A new video for the upcoming South Park: The Fractured But Whole hit the Ubisoft US Youtube channel today. In “The Coon Conspiracy Trailer”, Cartman (as his superhero persona, The Coon) has traveled back in time from the future to find a cat he thinks is part of an international conspiracy. There’s a brief showcase of several of the other boys’ superhero personas, including Kenny as Mysterion, Kyle as Human Kite, Butters as Professor Chaos, and Stan as Toolshed. The player character’s superpower will involve farts that can stop time, which continues the theme of flatulence-based special abilities from The Stick of Truth.

What made its predecessor so great was how true to the show it remained, and The Fractured But Whole looks like it’s going to deliver an equally authentic experience. Players can expect to have more options for character customization, an updated equipment crafting system, a new combat system, and to explore more of the town when the game is released next year. Also, if you pre-order, you will also get “Towelie: Your Gaming Bud”, an in-game assistant to help you in key locations.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in Q1 2017.
