While news of a demo for Nier: Automata was released previously, it was stated to be available for the Japanese region only. However, looks like the plans have changed and we were informed by our Square Enix contact that North America will also see a demo for Nier: Automata on the same day. definitely an early Christmas gift as the demo will be available three days prior to the holiday. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be a demo in store for the PC, this is strictly for the PlayStation 4.
On December 22, the consumer demo of the highly anticipated title NieR: Automata™ will be available on the PlayStation™Network. With an abandoned factory as the backdrop, the demo follows android 2B’s mission to destroy a massive enemy weapon that lies within.
NieR: Automata will be available for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system on March 7, 2017 in North America for $59.99 and Steam® in 2017. The Black Box Edition” is available for pre-order exclusively through the Square Enix® Online Store for $189.99. The Day One Edition is available for pre-order at all participating retailers.
