Telltale Games recently announced that the 3rd season of The Walking Dead: Telltale Series will premiere on December 20th, 2016. The Walking Dead- A New Frontier will feature a grown-up version of our girl Clementine and will be a five part series. Gamers everywhere will get their first look at the game during the upcoming The Game Awards show which airs on December 1st, 2016.
We still don’t know the story behind the third season and Telltale Games hasn’t been very forthcoming on what we can expect in the game. All we have to go on is what we saw during the announcement of the title back during E3 2016, where a trailer was released alongside the announcement of the game. It was then when we got our first glimpse of Clementine and another unnamed character taking out a walker by shooting it from a distance. They both seems to be searching for someone, perhaps something trapped by the walkers or perhaps something else?
The title will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android devices via their respective online stores. In addition, if you pre-order the PlayStation 4 version, you’ll also score a copy of both The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne as a bonus. A Season Pass Disc will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which will include the first episode and access to every release via download when they become available.
