Blue Dragon Is Now Backward Compatible On The Xbox One

By Keith MitchellNovember 2, 2016

The Xbox One may not be known for its JRPG’s, but the Xbox 360 sure had a few. We’ve already seen several make their way over to the Xbox One, thanks to the backward compatibility. Now, we can celebrate yet another game that’s making the jump. The often asked for title, Blue Dragon, is now backward compatible with the Xbox One.

Developed by Mistwalker, musical score by Final Fantasy fame, Nobuo Uematsu, Blue Dragon was easily one of the best JRPG’s of the time for any platform, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Now, the title is available for play for a new generation or for those who simply missed out the first time. Unfortunately, unless you own a copy of Blue Dragon now, there’s no way to get a copy of it via Xbox Live / Xbox Store. You’ll have to search on Ebay, Gamestop or anywhere else that used games are found.

Like a dummy, I got rid of my copy years ago. Thankfully, I managed to find a decently used copy at the local Gamestop. Can’t wait to play this again allow over again.
