By Keith MitchellSeptember 29, 2016

Nidhogg was pretty much an instant success and has enjoyed quite the run. Now it seems that Messhof, the team behind Nidhogg, is happy to announce that they’re working on Nidhogg 2. Yes, the sequel that you never knew you wanted is in development. From what we’ve seen so far, the sequel has received a graphical overhaul and is set to receive even more updates.

– Completely overhauled detailed environments and animations
– 10+ levels of fencing goodnessLocal and online multiplayer and tournament mode
– Play single-player against a series of AI opponents with occasional special challenge rounds
– New soundtrack featuring music by Mux Mool, Dose One, Daedelus and more!

So far Nidhogg 2 is a PC exclusive title, however, that other platforms haven’t been ruled out. You won’t have to wait long to get your first look or hands-on with the title, as Nidhogg 2 will be available for play during TwitchCon 2016 at booth #104.
