The Resigned Xbox One S Releases Today, Check out the Reviews

By Keith MitchellAugust 2, 2016

Today’s the day for those looking to either pick up their first Xbox One console or for those looking to trade in/up to the Xbox One S. Debuting today in North America, the 2TB Xbox One S, retailing for $399.99, should be on it’s way to your local stores right now. Or if you ordered one already, then it’s on the way to you. In addition to the redesigned system, comes the updated Xbox One controller that now includes the heavily requested Bluetooth for increased compatibility. Not everyone likes purchasing an adapter or dongle to play with their favorite controller on various other devices.

Why to get the Xbox One S?

  1. Quieter than the PlayStation 4, though not quieter than the Xbox One.
  2. Faster than the Xbox One increased framerates.
  3. Improved loading time.
  4. Lower power consumption.
  5. HDR10 / 4K UHD support.
  6. Updated Xbox One controller.

Of course, with the launch of the new Xbox One S, comes the reviews. Several reviews have already hit the net and we’ve provided links to those below, for your viewing pleasure.

Are you looking to pick up the Xbox One S, do you already own the original Xbox One? Are you trading up or are you holding off? AS for me, I already traded my day one Xbox One and picked up the 1TB Xbox One Elite, several months ago actually. Seeing how I can only get $150 for the trade in, I’d be a fool to do that. I mean, the Xbox Elite controller is $150 by itself, let alone the system. I’ll wait, perhaps around the 2016 Holiday shopping season. That way I can get a 4K TV for cheap and get the full benefits of the Xbox One S. Unless I can offload my current Xbox One for a reasonable price.

How about you?
