Mother Russia Bleeds Gets a Release Date

By Keith MitchellAugust 10, 2016

What happens when you take the beat em’ up action found in games like Streets of Rage and Final Fight, with just a smidge of over the top gore and violence from Splatter House? Well, if you’re developer Le Cartel and publisher Devolver Digital, you’re hoping you got the next hit on your hand. And with Mother Russia Bleeds, there’s a high chance that this may be the hyper-violent brawler you’re looking for. You were looking for this, weren’t you?

I’ve been following this for quite some time and now we finally have a release of September 5th, 2016, on PC, Mac, and Linux.

Set in an alternative universe version of the USSR, Mother Russia Bleeds, you play as 1 of 4 fighters (or together) as you take to the streets to take on the criminal underground. Oh, did I mention that your characters have been given drugs forcibly, which is making the really jacked and violent? This game is gory folks, serious, it’s really brutal. Heads explode, fists met with a lot of skin with blood flying everywhere, objects will be tossed into… well, you get it.

Oh and parents, please be responsible with this game. Don’t let your kids play this, this isn’t for them.
