DJ J-Ball: The Myers Touch 5 – A New Beginning

By Delaila LugoJuly 28, 2016
dj jballDJ J-Ball (Real Name: Jamal Myers of Quogue, New York) returns with his eighth video game music project (his fifth edition of his Myers Touch series). He continues to make music in his video game club music genre. His style features many elements of old school Baltimore Club and Jersey Club music with his own New York flare. He called about the styles of some of his favorite producers like DJ Tameil, DJ Technics, Rod Lee, DJ B-Stee, Tim Dolla, Debonair Samir, DJ Sega, and DJ Booman to re-work his tracks.

This project has 16 tracks featuring tracks from Pokemon X/Y, Super Smash Bros., Streets Of Rage 2, Legend Of Zelda 2, and Double Dragon. Unlike his other projects, on The Myers Touch 5, he even remixed TV anthems like FOX Kids’ X-Men, and songs from Invader Zim and Adventure Land. The album also includes 2 original tracks made from scratch by the producer.

At 2 years old, she was the little sister that was given the unplugged NES controller, and when finally discovering her big brothers trick, she couldn't be stopped. Her parent's would buy almost every single console (NES, Sega Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, etc.), with the expectation that they had to be shared. Finally purchasing her own PlayStation 2 is when she finally accepted gaming as one of her treasured hobbies. Favorite Games: The Last of Us and Bloodborne
