State of Decay 2 Announced at E3

By Josh PiedraJune 13, 2016

The next installment in the critically acclaimed State of Decay franchise was announced today during Microsoft’s E3 press conference. State of Decay 2 looks to immerse you in an all-new, multiplayer zombie survival fantasy. Building a lasting community, working with other players or solo to overcome challenges while exploring your own unique story in a world that remembers the choices you make comprise the game’s fundamentals. The sequel will once again take place in the Trumball Valley. The sequel appears to follow Loftis’ intended trajectory, fleshing out the original idea into something closer to a glossy tentpole game.

The original game began as a downloadable title for Xbox 360 in 2013. Critics and fans praised its stark, open-world and the opportunity to play as many survivors.

State of Decay 2 will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, but a release date was not announced just yet except the fact that it is coming in 2017.
