Shantae Half-Genie Hero Finally Gets a Release Date

Yes, I did donate to the Kickstarter for Shantae Half-Genie Hero, way back when. I’ve been sitting here, twiddling my thumbs and waiting for a release date. Now it seems that we’re getting a release date for the game, though it didn’t come directly from WayForward as Gamestop has posted the release date as being September 27, 2016. Now that only applied to the retail version of the game that is now being published by XSEED Games, however WayForward then came out and stated it also applies to the digital release as well.

Am I upset that we didn’t get the news from WayForward Games? Maybe a tad bit, but at least we did we finally got a release date. I did wish it was in Summer 2016, but it’s better than nothing.
