New Star Fox Zero Trailer Shows Amiibo Functionality

A new trailer for Star Fox Zero has been released.

The first half of the trailer focuses on the main game, showing more of the various vehicles and features detailed in the most recent Nintendo Direct. The second half focuses primarily on the additional game, Star Fox Guard, that is included with Star Fox Zero. In addition, amiibo support was explained, showing that use of certain amiibo will unlock new ships. Use of the Falco amiibo will unlock the Black Arwing, while the Fox amiibo will unlock Retro Arwings for your squadron members. You can view the full trailer below.

Star Fox Zero is expected to launch April 22, 2016.
