Get ready all you Gears of War fans, my self included. We finally have an official release date for Coalition’s Gears of War 4 for the Xbox One and that day is October 11, 2016. We’re 6 months away from the next chapter of the Gears of War saga and while we’ve only gotten bits and pieces of the story so far, I’m sure that will change soon. No mention if there is a Windows 10 version as of yet.
What’s that? You can’t wait until then? Well if you either own a copy of Gears of War: Ultimate on Xbox One or PC and have played it prior to April 18, then you’ll be granted access to the Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta. And if not don’t worry as the beta will be extended to all Xbox Live Gold members starting on April 25, 2016.
That’s a day right after PAX East 2016, in case you’re wondering. Speaking of PAX East 2016, Gears of War 4 will be making a showing at the event. So if you’re planning on stopping by then make sure you check out the Xbox One booth to get a sneak peek of Gears of War 4 as well.
