Marvel Avengers Academy Launches on iOS and Android

By Walter MackFebruary 4, 2016

John Cena as the Hulk, Alison Brie as the Black Widow? If that even remotely catches your interest, be sure to check out Tinyco’s Marvel Avengers Academy, which launched earlier today. Featuring a powerhouse cast voicing our favorite heroes, Marvel Avengers Academy is a sim/management game in which players will built and manage the academy for various Marvel characters. Not to be mistaken with 2010’s ongoing series of the same name, which highlighted Marvel’s younger cast of character’s like Spider-Girl and X-23, the game instead takes place in an alternate universe in which younger versions of the Avengers and their foes are school aged.

Presenting a core cast that contains a healthy mixture of characters casual viewers of the film will be familiar with, to more recent comic characters such as the Kamala Khan version of Ms. Marvel, the game promises a fresh take on the Marvel property for fans of all kinds. The voice cast should also be familiar to most people, ranging from wrestler John Cena to Colton Haynes (Roy Harper/Arsenal from Arrow) to Priyanka Chopra (Alex Parrish from the hit show Quantico).

Marvel Avenger’s Academy is now available for free on the App Store and the Google Play Store.

Walter is a California native. He is currently in his last year of college pursuing a B.A. in English, but is often mistaken for a freshman...or a middle school tourist on occassion. His earliest gaming experience was Pokemon Red version on the Gameboy color, which he played actively. He would dabble with the Nintendo 64 and Playstation 2 for a bit before transitioning to many years of F2P MMOs. He then moved on to League of Legends, with whom he as an on and off again relationship. He currently spends most of his game time on his Playstation 4. He's also a bit of a Marvel nut.
