Steam finally lets you permanently remove games from your account

By Keith MitchellDecember 4, 2015

If here was one option that I wished Steam had included, it was definitely the ability to completely remove a game from your account. And while you were able to simply hide it, it simply wasn’t the same. Until now that is. Valve has finally introduced the ability to remove a game or application from your Steam account.

Now, before everyone gets all excited, I really really want to stress that this is a complete removal of the game. As in the license is removed. As in you would need to re-buy it again should you even want to play this game ever again. This also removes any bonus content that you received with that game as well. So definitely keep that in mind, as once you remove it there’s no going back. And no, you will get no refund either, as far as I am aware.

To see how this is done, check out the short video we’ve created on this.
