Mass Effect: Andromeda Teaser Starts N7 Day

By Jason KwasnickiNovember 7, 2015

For all of you Mass Effect fans out there, N7 Day commences with a bittersweet little video featuring Commander Shepard giving a final sendoff to future explorers.

While the teaser perfectly encapsulates the Mass Effect motif, it really isn’t anything for those craving something substantial regarding the long-awaited follow-up to the original trilogy, Mass Effect: Andromeda. While we are expecting a late 2016 release, we have had little news about the title, and it looks like it will stay that way. BioWare has stated that “we won’t have any major announcements for Mass Effect: Andromeda this N7 Day” (via VG247), though they said they had some “surprises” waiting. Could this be it?

Probably. The expected release is about a year away, so one could reasonably expect to start hearing more about the game and, possibly, start seeing it in action. However, it would make no sense to release info in the current gauntlet of AAA releases for it to get lost in the mix. When BioWare comes out with new Andromeda info, they will come out big. In the mean time, enjoy:

Born and raised in the New York area, currently kicking it in Queens, and keeping an ear to the grindstone in this crazy world of internet media hustling. Having attended the George Washington University with a Degree in History, I'm sometimes inclined to use big words unnecessarily. While I typically play a lot of RPGs, I tend to like any game that is fun. My PSN ID is NY-Miller, so hit me up if you ever want to kill some Wizards on the Moon in Destiny.
