Didn’t get into the Overwatch Beta? Don’t fret, today might be your lucky day

By Keith MitchellNovember 19, 2015

pin_overwatchIf you’re like me, you’ve had to endure the torture of sitting on the sidelines while everyone is enjoying Blizzard’s Overwatch. I know, i feel your pain, however today just might change our luck. As you may or may not be aware of, Blizzard is starting a new stress testing phase, and of course to do a massive stress test that makes their servers cry for their mommies, they’ll need more people. And that’s where you and I come in. Blizzard will be flagging more accounts  today for access to the beta, in fact in 3 hours from now.

The Beta Test Weekend for Overwatch will start on November 20 @ 9AM PST/12PM EST and will last until November 23 9AM PST / 12PM EST. That’s 3.5 days of bliss, assuming you get in. And sorry PS4 and Xbox One gamers, this is a PC only beta.

If you’re selected, you will receive a Beta Test Weekend invite that will be sent to your email address that is registered to your Battle.net account. SO if you have ti set to some account you don’t check or don’t have access to anymore, well you better go fix that asap. Once accepted, you’ll see an install button appear in your Battle.net desktop app.

So start crossing those fingers, toes and just about anything else you can cross… well, except the streams. Crossing the streams is bad, M’kay! Please let me in Blizzard, please……See, I asked nicely!

Update: I got in! snoopy-happy-dance
