Updated Shantae Half Genie Hero build expected this month

While the release date for WayForward’s latest Shantae outing, Shantae: The Half Genie Hero, has long since past, the company has been in constant communication with it’s fans and backers. A lesson that other companies should take note… yes I know that was cheapshot. In fact, in their recent update to the Kickstarter backers, they have announced that the E3 2015 build is going to get an update and released to the backers some time later this month.

Included in the updated build will be one new level, plus the previously levels will still remain, however they’ll be in their updated form so we can see how farm the game has progressed since June 2015.

Except that updated demo sometime this month folks, I know I can’t wait.

Shantae Half Genie Hero, when released, will be available PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS Vita, Wii U and PC.
