DemiGames dates Mushihimesama for November 5 on Steam for $20, will support tate

By Keith MitchellOctober 23, 2015

A few weeks back, Cave announced that they would be porting some of their shump games over to the PC via Steam. Shortly afterwards they announced that the first game to be released would be a remastered version of Mushihimesama, the only problem was that there was no release date for the title. However today they’ve announced that the release date of Mushihimesama will now take place on November 5, 2015.

Mushihimesama first appeared in arcades then was ported over to the PlayStation 2, iOS, however an HD port of the title appeared later on the Xbox 360, which included several new modes, and upgraded graphics.

Update: After reaching out to DemiGames via Steam, we were able to get the pricing for the game. The game will retail for $20 USD, with a 25% discount bringing the game down to $15 during it’s initial launch. We also got word that the game will also support Tate, which is the ability to rotate your screen to recreate the original horizontal game experience.

Hi Everyone,
We’ve just announced the release date (November 5th) and gone live with the Coming Soon page for Mushihimesama.

Over the next week or two we’ll be posting some more information and previews for the game. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, on the Steam forums, or on our Facebook page.

Cheers,
