Fox’s Gotham is nearing it’s Season 2 premier and the frantic search for The Joker’s identity just took a big step forward.
A new trailer for season 2 entitled, Villains Rising, features a larger does of Cameron Monaghan’s new character, Jerome. As we see, Jerome definitely shows off his Joker qualities in this trailer.

No confirmation has been made that Jerome is/will become The Joker, but executive producer Bruno Heller has stated that “the story [they’re] telling is absolutely the story of how The Joker came to be.”
Remember when no one would ever be better than Heath Ledger? Now we might have 2 Jokers running around!
