CAVE set to bring their bullet hell shmups to Steam

By Keith MitchellAugust 31, 2015

As a long time shmup or  “shoot em up” fan, I can’t tell you how many times I was disappointed whenever a new CAVE Shooter was announced or released, only for it be exclusive to an arcade or worse, on the iPhone and iPad. Bullet Hell shooters such as Espgaluda II and Dodonpachi Resurrection, for example have been out of my reach as I game on a PC and while we’ve been blessed with other shooters, Cave games have been sorely missed.

Well it seems that CAVE has seen the error of their ways and they’ve put up page that reads the following:

“Steam can’t dodge these bullets. Winter 2015”

Exciting news for shmup fans for sure! However there’s no mention if we’re going to simply get ports of previously released games, enhanced versions or even completely new games. Last I checked there hasn’t been any news of any new CAVE games coming out. Still, news about any CAVE games making it to the best is great!

Be sure to head over to www.caveshmups.com to sign up to be noified of upcoming news from CAVE.
