Looks like we finally have the final mock up of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain box art. Notice anything different about images below? Yep, looks like Konami has completely removed the logo for Kojima Productions on the one of the right, which is the final product.

I don’t know about you but seeing how Kojima is the main reason we even have a Metal Gear, it’s weird to not see him attached to what could be the final Metal Gear or at the very least the last Kojima Productions produced Metal Gear.

Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain is will launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2015, with a PC version releasing shortly afterwards. We better enjoy it folks, it will likely we the last Metal Gear we’re going to get for a while but definitely the last one to be blessed by Kojima and crew.
