Microsoft gives the lowdown on their Gamescom 2015 lineup

E3 2015 has come and gone, of course that just means that companies are gearing up for their next game show apperance which just happens to be Gamescom 2015. Microsoft, being no stranger to the game has already announced their Gamescom 2015 line-up which includes games such as Scalebound, Quantum Break, Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Crackdown. Oddly enough several of those titles were supposed to make a showing at E3 2015 but were pulled at the last moment. Whatever polish MS wanted to get done should be good to go now as they have been confirmed to make an appearance.

Gamescom 2015 Xbox Briefing
Tuesday, August 4
4:00 p.m. CEST (10:00 a.m. EDT)

During our E3 2015 Xbox Briefing, we shared the first part of our vision for the future of Xbox gaming. That will continue when the Xbox Team takes the stage the evening before gamescom officially kicks off to share the latest on the games coming to Xbox One, including highly anticipated titles like Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown. We’ll take a closer look at those and other upcoming games, as well as share some exciting announcements. So tune in to the gamescom 2015 Xbox Briefing on Xbox One, Xbox.com, Xbox 360, and Windows Phone to get the latest news and see some hot trailers and demos. Be sure to download the free Xbox Live Event interactive app (XLEi app) on your Xbox One or XLE on your Xbox 360 before the show so you’re ready!

Thursday, August 6 through Saturday, August 9 – 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. CEST
Sunday, August 10 – 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. CEST

Gamescom is the world’s largest consumer video game show, giving fans who purchase tickets the chance to take a closer look at the future of gaming. Come join us in the Xbox booth on the show floor to go hands-on with the greatest lineup in Xbox history. From Halo 5: Guardians and Forza Motorsport 6 to Rise of the Tomb Raider, we’ve got some amazing titles for you to play in the booth and watch in our comfortable theater. Get an early taste of the games you’ll be enjoying, both this holiday and in 2016.

Xbox FanFest: gamescom 2015

Why throw one FanFest when you can throw two? After fans had a blast at Xbox FanFest: E3 2015, we’ve decided to bring the same up-close-and-personal fan experience to gamescom this year. Running from Tuesday, August 4th through Wednesday, August 5th, a group of lucky fans will get exclusive access to the greatest games lineup in Xbox history, as well a host of other surprises. We’ll have a lot more details to share very soon, so stay tuned to Xbox Wire, AceyBongos, Major Nelson and your local Xbox Facebook pages and Twitter feeds for the all of the latest news on this exciting opportunity.

Six titles that Microsoft has been hyping up for quite some time, so it’s time for them to deliver. But will they come Gamescom 2015? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
