Lords of the Fallen is getting a GOTY edition

By Keith MitchellMay 20, 2015

The CI Games and Deck13 developed action-rpg, Lords of the Fallen, is now getting a Game of the Year edition. Released last year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Lords of the Fallen didn’t get the exact reaction that the developers were expecting, which was to be expected as the game was marketed towards gamers who enjoyed games such as Dark Souls, though the two were not similar when it game to game play.

The GOTY version will include new weapons, armor and will include already released DLC which includes;

  • Ancient Labyrinth DLC
  • Demonic Weapons Pack
  • Lionheart Pack
  • The Monk’s Decipher DLC

As for someone who is a huge fan of FROMSOFTWARE’S Soul series, I gave Lords of the Fallen a try and while I felt it was a decent game, it still had several issues that ultimately crushed the title. So I’m not sure why the game is getting a “Game of the Year” edition, as I don’t feel it deserved one.

Expect to see the Lords of the Fallen “Game of the Year” edition on June 26, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
