From The Minds Of Amnesia Comes SOMA, A Sci-fi Survival Horror Game

By Keith MitchellMay 29, 2015

Frictional Games, the minds the created the amazing Amnesia series, have released a new trailer for their upcoming game entitled, SOMA. SOMA is a sci-fi survival horror game that takes places on an underwater research facility called PATHOS-2. Something strange is going on down there which is causing the machines in the facility take on human characteristics and do things that they really shouldn’t.

The game has apparently been in development for 5 years, but now Frictional Games has announced that the title will be relased for the PlayStation 4 and PC on September 22nd, 2015.

I’ve honestly never heard of this title until today but I’m loving the vibe I’m getting from the trailer, which you can watch below. Truth me told, it reminds me of Alien: Isolation, which many of you know I am a huge fan of that game (Check out the review here). I’ll definitely need to get my hands on this, this is right up my alley.

Check out the trailer below and remember, it’s just a game…..
