Assault Android Cactus heads to the PS4, PS Vita, Wii U and PC this summer

Just got word that Assault Android Cactus is finally approaching an actual release date. While this title has been in development  and Steam Early Access for quite sometime, I’ve enjoyed it. A frantic paced twin-stick shooter in the vein of Smash TV, from the minds of Witch Beam, who I had the pleasure of meeting during PAX East 2014, is an easy to pick up, hard to master and even harder to stop playing title.

Seriously folks, this is a fun and fast paced game. Definitely rmeinds me of top down shooters of the past and then some. I’ve wasted many a days just sitting back with my daughter, playing Assault Android Cactus. And soon you’ll be able to as well.

Developed by industry veterans whose resumes cite L.A. Noire, Alien Isolation and Need for Speed – Assault Android Cactus requires players keep the bullets flying in order to survive dynamic levels that continuously introduce new elements. Gamers can immerse themselves in single player or team up with friends in four-player local co-op.

Scheduled for a release of Summer 2015, Assault Android Cactus will be available for the PlayStation 4, PC, Wii U and PS Vita for $14.99.
