Transformers Robots in Disguise premiers today @ 6PM EST

By Keith MitchellMarch 14, 2015

Transformers Robots in Disguise, the next chapter of the animated Transformers shows is about to air on the TV waves. Starting today at 5PM on the Cartoon Network, we’ll finally be able to get a full viewing of Transformers Robots in Disguise in it’s debut. Led by Bumblebee, a ragtag of Autobots follows a Deception ship that has managed to crash land on Earth. This actually takes place some years after the fantastic show that was Transformers: Prime, which one of my favorite Transformers shows and is up there with the G1 and G2 cartoons. Not idea if we’re see returning characters such as Ratchet, who stayed on Earth at the end of Transformers: Prime or their former human associates.

Producer Jeff Kline and writer Steven Melching, both who worked on Transformers: Prime both return to produce Transformers Robots in Disguise, as is Polygon Pictures, the same animators from Prime as well.

I’m still a bit bumped that Optimus Prime returned to the All-Spark at the end of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters – Predacons Rising, but I’m sure he’ll return yet again, in one fashion or another, I mean it’s Optimus Prime. How many times has he returned from the dead in the past?

All in all I’m pretty reserved about this show but I’m going to check it out and perhaps I”ll even do some recaps of it, it’s a Transformers show and I’m been a Transformers fan ever since m parents got my my first Transformers for Christmas; Mirage, Hound and Optimus Prime.

So be sure not miss the first North American aired episode of Transformers Robots in Disguise that premiers today @ 5PM on the Cartoon Network!
