In a large departure from its usual DLC practices, Capcom announced today on IGN’s Nintendo Voice Chat that Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be receiving FREE monthly DLC packs on the first Friday of every month, beginning with a set of Link-themed items, such as a sword & shield set, bow & arrow, and armor set on March 6th.
Capcom also mentioned that they would also be releasing their first episode quest, the Clockwork Contraption and Emperor’s Speech weapons (these were the winners of the fan contest), and an equipment set based on a collaboration with Universal Studios Japan.
