Impending Death on Arrow

Potential spoilers ahead. Read at your own discretion.

Arrow star Stephen Amell has long been known for his social media interactions with his fans. Now in its third season, Arrow is still going strong, but a regular character will be dying in an upcoming episode. Amell first let fans know on Facebook that they just finished up on the show’s 65th episode (Season 3, episode 19). Next, he dropped the bomb through Twitter that someone would be dying on the season’s 19th episode:

Later that night, co-star Colton Haynes (Roy Harper/Arsenal) tweeted a similar message:

There is much speculation about who will be dying. With Sarah Lance/Canary (Caity Lotz) dying in the season opener and the recent focus on Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) taking over the mantle, topped with the heart problems of their father Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), his death could push Laurel even further into where she needs to be.

Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), with his recent capture and being brought to Nanda Parbat puts him directly in harm’s way. Perhaps Thea Queen (Willa Holland) will draw Ra’s al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) wrath when he learns of her involvement in Sarah’s death. Some fans are guessing at John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) death.

Personally, I’m hoping it’s just a really late goodbye to Roy’s flips:

and my favorite:

Episode 65 or Season 3, Episode 19 is titled “Broken Arrow”. Currently on a 2 week hiatus, Arrow returns on March 18th at 9/8c on the CW.

Walter is a California native. He is currently in his last year of college pursuing a B.A. in English, but is often mistaken for a freshman...or a middle school tourist on occassion. His earliest gaming experience was Pokemon Red version on the Gameboy color, which he played actively. He would dabble with the Nintendo 64 and Playstation 2 for a bit before transitioning to many years of F2P MMOs. He then moved on to League of Legends, with whom he as an on and off again relationship. He currently spends most of his game time on his Playstation 4. He's also a bit of a Marvel nut.
