Funimation acquires the license to Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’

By Keith MitchellMarch 16, 2015

Funimation has announced over the weekend that they have acquired the rights to distribute the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ movie for theatrical, home entertainment, video on demand and broadcast rights.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ is the 19th Dragon Ball movie and will revolve around the resurrection of Frieza, who was defeated by Goku and ultimately killed by Trunks in the Dragon Ball Z series.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ is set to release in Japan on April 18 and thanks to Funimation, the North American region will also get to see the latest DBZ flick with english subtitles on April 11 at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. An english dubbed version will be released later during summer 2015.
