FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward Collector’s Edition release date and pricing announced

The upcoming Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, has a collector’s edition and now we know the release date and price. Set to release on June 23, 2015 and priced at $129.99 for a physical copy / $59.99 for a digital copy, the collector’s edition will include the following items;

  • “Dragonsong War” Exclusive Box featuring art by famed FINAL FANTASY artist Yoshitaka Amano (Physical Collector’s Edition only)
  • Expertly-Crafted Dragon Mount Figure (Physical Collector’s Edition only)
  • FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward Art Book (Physical Collector’s Edition only)
  • FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Movie Blu-ray Disc (Physical Collector’s Edition only)
  • In-game items including a Flying Griffin Mount, Dark Knight Cecil-themed Baron Helm, Wind-Up Kain minion and Fantasia (Physical Collector’s Edition only)

On top of that, if you preorder any versions (CE included), you will also score several in-game items such as the Baron Circlet, Baron Earrings and a Chocobo Chick Courier minion.  To pick up your collectors edition, head on over to https://store.na.square-enix.com/final-fantasy-xiv, no word if the collector’s edition will be available via other locations such as Bestbuy, Gamestop or Amazon.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward releases on June 23, 2015 and will feature a new story which plunges adventurers into the heart of the Dragonsong War, the bloody thousand-year conflict between the knights of Ishgard and the dragons of Dravania. Adventurers can also look forward to an increased level cap from 50 to 60 for all disciplines, a new playable race, new dungeons and raids, new primal battles, and new mounts that allow players to take to the skies—flying black chocobos, single-rider airships, dragons and more!
