Assault Android Cactus gets an update, reaches alpha

By Keith MitchellMarch 5, 2015
Assault Android Cactus coming to Xbox One

Assault Android, that top down shooter than plays like a mixture of 80’s and 90’s old school games has two pieces of news for everyone. First up is that they recently revealed a sweet weapon swap animation for the main character, Cactus.

Tell me that this doesn’t look kick-ass!

The second bit of news is that Assault Android Cactus has finally reached alpha status and with that comes massive update and the final two levels of the game.

Collider is a hybrid stage and sub-boss, introducing a shocking new enemy that nobody except those who browse my DeviantArt page would have ever expected.

And our final boss, Medulla is our biggest battle yet, involving more unique sub units than all of Zone 1. May have gotten a little carried away there.

But the update goes far deeper than that – for instance we have introduced the Codex, giving you a chance to get a closer look at the characters and enemies in the game.

But I’m not going to spoil the update news, so head on over to the official Android Assault Cactus website and check it out for yourselves – http://www.assaultandroidcactus.com.
