Look for the Next Samsung Smartphone to come with Wireless Charging!

In a blog post from Principle Engineer, Seho Park, on the official SamsungTomorrow Blog, the principle engineer details the advancements Samsung, and the industry as a whole, have made towards making wireless charging a thing of the present. Seho continues on to state “With our upcoming Galaxy smartphones, users will be able to enter a new wireless world like never before.”

Seho Park cites the different wireless charging systems, PMA and A4WP, joining forces has laid the foundation for a more universal public wireless charging system. The principle engineer also states that Samsung’s own advancements in the technology since 2000 have resulted in quicker wireless charging, fewer amount of components, and a smaller size of such components. All of these factors have lead to a more realistic chance that wireless charging can come to the everyday consumer.

Seho Park finishes by stating, “It is expected that 2015 will be a landmark year for the growth of wireless charging deployment, as wireless charging stations will begin to appear in more and more public places.” Be on the lookout for one of the next Samsung smartphones to come with wireless charging out of the box!
