Killer Instinct on PC poll closed, here are the results from the fans

By Keith MitchellJanuary 10, 2015
Killer-Instinct

Last month it was mentioned that Microsoft and Iron Galaxy were actively engaging fans of the Killer Instinct community on matter of utmost interest. Specifically Iron Galaxy wanted to see if fans would be open to the idea of porting Killer Instinct, which is currently only available on the Xbox One, over to the PC platform (Please do this!). This was done via a poll which ended yesterday. Overall I feel that the responses, while low, were also interesting.

As you can see there is still an interest from the fans to port the title over, some directly open to the idea while others are impartial to it. Thankfully for more positives than negatives. Sadly when the poll ended so did the thread attached to the poll, however a new thread has been started and can be accessed here –  A Civil PC Port Discussion – Round 2. So if you missed out the first time around to answer on if you’d like to see Killer Instinct on the PC, or have a passing interest on what the community thinks then you should check the thread out.

As for me, while I already own an Xbox One it isn’t a secret that the majority of gaming I do is on PC, so I too would like to see it on the PC. I say give gamers more options and at the same time making the title more accessible. Combine that with cross-platform support  and you have a title that both sides can enjoy with and against each other.  And lastly if would greatly contribute to the amount of fighting titles (non-indie) that are making their way to PC, titles that include; King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat X, Tekken 7 (still not 100% clear), Injustice: Gods among us, Ultra Street Fighter 4, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, Street Fighter X Tekken, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend as well as several upcoming titles such as Street Fighter 5.

What are you thoughts on the matter? Would you like to see Killer Instinct ported over to the PC? We’d love to know your thoughts.
