Looks like Capcom is getting into the Christmas spirit with their current promo for Resident Evil Remaster.

Pre-Ordering Resident Evil entitles you to both the PS4™ and PS3™ versions of the game. You’ll also receive an exclusive theme for your PS3™ system’s XMB™ menu screen in your download list after checking out. Play the game on 1/20/15 starting midnight Eastern.

Resident Evil Remaster, which is an enhanced port of the Gamecube version of Resident Evil will sport new features such as a 1080 resolution (PC, PS4, Xbox One), 5.1 surround sound, 4:3 & 16:9 aspect ratios and the ability to toggle controls from the original and a new control scheme.

So if you’re looking to treat yourself to the remaster edition then now’s the time. Resident Evil Remastered is currently up on PSN for $19.99 and will be available for play on January 20th, 2015. Resident Evil Remaster is also releasing to the PS3, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Jan. 20, 2015.
