New teaser trailer and info on upcoming Dreamcast shump, Ghost Blade.

By Keith MitchellOctober 6, 2014

Even after all this time the Dreamcast (Rest in Piece) still has a huge cult following and even more amazing is the fact that people are still making games for it. Case in point here is that HuCast Games has announced a new top-down Shump/c, Ghost Blade, for Sega Dreamcast will be available in 2015. To be fair they also announced this way back in 2013 as I remember reading about it.

The gameplay hearkens back to the flying shooter games of the 1990’s with 2010’s graphic style and special effects. Also include in the game are several different game modes; Stage Mode (standard game play), Caravan Mode and the trusty Time Attack mode.

In Ghost Blade, Earth is invaded by an alien race who threaten humanity’s very existence. To destroy this menace, the Earth’s Army launches its new powerful weapon: Ghost Blade, the most lethal, fastest spaceship developed from men.
Use Ghost Blade’s powerful arsenal against waves of enemy ships and save the human race!

There will be 3 different versions of the game; Standard (Just the game), Limited Edition (Limited to 1000 copies and will include a soundtrack and manual) and a  Collectors Edition (Game, Soundtrack, SuperPlay DVD and Manual) with only 300 copies being made. If  you’re remotely interested either the LE or CE  be sure to head on over to http://hucast.com/ to get your copy.
