Latest Mortal Kombat X reveal from Evo 2014 is Raiden

By Keith MitchellJuly 12, 2014

Recently at the end the EVO 2014 Injustice final’s, Ed Boon announced the latest reveal for Mortal Kombat X which featured none other than Raiden. The last time we saw Raiden was at the end of the last Netherrealm hit, Mortal Kombat (2011) as he, Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade had departed the Earth Realm after the defeat of Shao Khan. However Mortal Kombat X picks up 25 years later so it’s interesting to see how his story pans out, since it didn’t go so well last time, krispy Lui Kang anyone?)

I’ll have footage up shortly of the trailer presented at Evo 2014.

So the Mortal Kombat X roster climbs by one, giving us 7 characters so far; Cassie Cage, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Ferra and Torr, Kortal Khan, D’vorah and now Raiden.

Mortal Kombat X will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2015.
