The history of Final Fantasy XIII & XIII-2 as told in 16-bit????

Yesterday Squre-Enix hinted about something being released today and that we should keep our eyes on their SquareEnixPresents channel on Youtube. Well it’s today and it seems that there is indeed something there, something unexpected. They’ve completed re-told the entire Final Fantasy XIII history (FFXIII and FFXIII-2) and re-imaged to look like Final Fantasy of old, in all it’s 16-bit glory. All of which leads up to the pending release of LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII.

Very nice and very unexpected indeed.

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII releases onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 14th, 2014 in North America.
