Enjoy the full arcade opening movie from Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-

Arc Systems, a developer who is known for it’s arcade / console hits such as Guilty Gear, Blazblue and even more recently Persona 4: Arena, looks to be making it’s come back for their next title; Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. However what sets GG Xrd -SIGN- apart from their previous releases is that they’ve taken a different route and have used the Unreal Engine 3 and have incorporated cel-shaded graphics instead of hand drawn sprites and it will use SEGA’s ALL.Net system which is a network that allows arcade games to connect to the internet for software updates, online capability and for the ability to upload/download game saves and leader-board information across the globe.

“After a long silence Arc System Works returns with its flagship fighting game series, that’s been re-imagined from the ground up. A new legend is about to begin… Having undergone numerous location tests since its 5/19 announcement, and with a dose of legendary creator, Daisuke Ishiwatari’s soul, we’ve brought Xrd to life. Now, we want to share with you the opening sequence from the upcoming Arcade release!”

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is still slated for a Spring 2014 release for Arcades (Japan) and will eventually make it’s way to the PlayStation 3 and 4, no word if it will come to other systems.
