Persona 5 announced for Playstation 3 in 2014 and more

By Keith MitchellNovember 24, 2013

See, we told you it was worth holding on to those Playstation 3’s and Atlus agrees so much that they’ve finally announced Persona 5 for the Playstation 3. The first time ever that Persona has graced the system, not counting Persona 4 Arena since that was a fighter and not the traditional RPG. Sadly this has been announced for the Japanese Playstation 3 market and there hasn’t been any word if it will hit the North American market, but one can only hope and pray that it does.

Not much is know about the title as there wasn’t been anything released except the trailer below, though expect to see more information shortly from Atlus (Sega Atlus?).

Wait, there’s more. Along side of the Persona 5 reveal were 3 more games; Personal Q:Shadow of Labyrinth for the 3DS, which was been rumored to have been in production for some time and is a spin-off of Persona 3 and 4. Next up is Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the Vita and is a dance game featuring the Persona crew. And finally we have Persona 4: Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold and is the follow up to Persona 4: Arena and will include the recent arcade update that includes Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori and newcomer to the Persona series, Sho Minazuki as well as a host of new tweaks to the game play. This appears to be only for the Playstation 3 as you can see from the trailer, strangely omitting the Xbox 360 which the original Persona 4: Arena was also released on.

So Persona and Shin Megami Tensei fans, is that enough Persona to tide you over?
