Wreck-It Ralph fires on all cynlinders

By Keith MitchellNovember 3, 2012

Just got back from checking out Wreck-It Ralph and I have to say that I’m mighty impressed. Sure I followed the movie for about a year now and I was a tad on the unsure side about the story line but was pleased to see that Disney was on a mission to make sure this movie was something that connected both the gamers of old and new.

Props to Disney for  incorporating games that are played today on our home consoles such as Hero’s Duty which is a spoof on Call of Duty or seeing two classic & well known characters in Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter heading to a bar after the arcade closes for the night and even that faster than fast hedgehog, Sonic!

If you’ve been on the fence about this movie, let me be the first to tell you that it’s time to hop off that fence and head on over to your local theater and check it out. Not only is it a total genuine experience but it’s a movie that the entire family can enjoy and if you’re a gamer from back in the day your inner child will thank you. Oh and the soundtrack kicks some ass as well!

As for me, I’m going back to check it out again!
