Black Mesa has finally been released. Rejoice Half-Life Brethren!

Black Mesa has finally been released after being in development for the better part of 8 years, development stated in. Originally known as Black Mesa Source (Forced by Valve to drop Source from the title) is a modification or a total conversion modification that retells the events of the original Half-Life game. Despite being labeled as vaporware for several years, issues with the team and other various snafu’s, the current 40 man team has something to be proud of as their fruits of their labor have been met with very positive feedback.

Hopefully this will tide over all the Half-Life fans until we get a Half-Life 3. It could happen, I mean….. Duke Nukem Forever came out!

Head on over to the official Black Mesa website to get your download going – Official Black Mesa Website. And while you’re at it check out the Black Mesa Soundtrack – here.
