In these day and age of animation you simply do not find a series that compelled you or filled you with a rush of memories like the forever great Macross did. The space battles, the music (Love you Minmei) and the atmosphere. Through the years and countless additions to the franchise the original Macross still holds a special place in my heart as I know it does in the countless others who’s lives were forever changed once they got hooked on it.
