On the recent WakeUP SRK Mr. Mizard announced the following games that will be played at the upcoming 2012 EVO championship’s.
- Super Street Fighter Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Soul Calibur 5
- Mortal Kombat 9
- King of Fighters 13
- Street Fighter X Tekken
As mentioned he isn’t sure how they plan on running SFxT as it’s not released yet and it’s still in the air if they will allow gems or not, but here’s hoping on the later. Sadly Soul Calibur 5 and Mortal Kombat 5 made the lineup but Blazblue is absent this year, I know that’ surely going to sadden the Blazblue fighting scene in the States.
The 2012 EVO championship’s will take place on July 6th – 8th at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Detailed about the event have yet to be posted over at the official Evo website, however they will be soon – http://evo2k.com/
