Other platforms were not mentioned when Atlus and Vanillaware announced that the Unicorn Overlord demo was heading to the Nintendo Switch. At the time, the lack of love for other platforms made the internet and myself very sad. But thankfully, that’s all about to change, as the pair revealed that the Unicorn Overlord demo was heading to the PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S, as well.

Unicorn Overlord demo will also be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S on Thursday, 2/22 at 9PM PST!

While I had already played the demo on the Switch, I’m definitely going back in to play it on either the PS5 or Xbox Series X; I’m not sure yet. I’m still a bit sad that the game isn’t going to grace the PC, but I haven’t given up hope that it might come over to the platform eventually. Several Atlus’ Persona games came to the PC with Persona 3 Reload, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal. The upcoming masterpiece, Metaphor: ReFantazio, is also being developed for the PC.

Unleash the magic of Unicorn Overlord, the electrifying tactical role-playing sensation crafted by Vanillaware and published by Atlus. Prepare to be thrust into the heart of Fevrith, a continent ablaze with the fires of war, where exiled prince Alain emerges as the beacon of hope in the face of tyranny. Led by the valiant Alain, players embark on a thrilling quest to reclaim their kingdom from the iron grip of the nefarious Zenoiran Empire, commanded by the enigmatic General Valmore.

Engage in epic skirmishes across sprawling battlefields, where every move holds the fate of nations in the balance. Command Alain and his stalwart army as they clash with the forces of darkness in breathtaking real-time combat. With each strategic maneuver, the destiny of Fevrith hangs in the balance, and only the bravest souls dare to challenge the might of the Unicorn

Unicorn Overlord will be released on March 8th, 2024, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
