With Tekken 8’s Launch Date quickly approaching, Bandai Namco is doing everything it can in order to keep fans engaged. FGC Legend Mark Julio(Markman) has released 8 Tekken 8 videos to help spread the excitement more. MarkMan stressed that these videos will not be showing off any high learnings of the game since the team only had so much time with it. The different match videos all have special intros between the characters. High comp with Heat Mode is not expected since this is still early. Arcade and combo challenges are expected.
Lee Chaolan is probably the only character that hasn’t been shown with a deep trailer next to Devil Jin. However, Devil Jin’s moveset usually comes across as an aggressive Jin with flight and eye lasers. One of the new stages is out of this world – literally.

Bandai Namco has also announced that a demo would be released for Tekken 8 on December 14th for PlayStation 5 and December 21st for Xbox and Steam ecosystems. Local play and the first chapter of the Tekken 8 story, The Dark Awakens, will be present, among other features such as Super Ghost Battle. 4 characters will be available to local couch versus your friends with:
- Jin
- Kazuya
- Paul
- Nina
Local Versus let's you try Jin, Kazuya, Paul and Nina along with a few stages (Urban Square – Evening, Yakushima, Sanctum)

Tekken 8 will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) on January 26th.
