LEGO Fornite: How To Build Compost Bin & How To Use It

By Faith LaneApril 4, 2024

Making a Compost Bin in LEGO Fortnite is a must. Not only does this machine help you get Fertilizer and Soil, which can be used to make garden plots – but this device can also be used to make Biomass, which is an important item if you plan to craft and build your very own vehicle in the game as it will be a needed item to add power to your car.

How To Build A Compost Bin & How To Use It

First things first, players will need to build a compost which will require some materials. The materials needed for a compost bin are fairly simple and won’t take much for players to be able to build even as a beginner. Below is a list of the items needed.

  • 5 Planks
  • 2 Soil
  • 1 Sand
  • 3 Fertilizer

To get planks, players will need to gather wood from trees and then send it through the lumber mill, which can then be used for planks. Soil can be found by taking and hitting a grassy surface with a shove; this will provide soil. Similarly, with the soil, players will need to find a sandy area to then begin digging to find sand – close to beaches is the best bet. Fertilizer will be found on the floor, mainly around chickens, it seems.

After gathering the materials, players will be able to find the recipe to build it in their build menu. Once placing it down, players will be able to open it up and place items into it to be able to get Fertilizer and Soil but also Biomass in Fortnite LEGO

The best things to place inside the compost bin are raspberries, raw meat, cooked meat, and bone. These will provide mainly Fertilizer, some soil, and little biomass. You won’t be able to determine what you get. That is everything to know about how to get and use the compost bin in LEGO Fortnite.
