Persona 3 Reload Sends Out its Support with Fuuka Yamagishi

By William "Shadowz" KokNovember 6, 2023

Atlus shows off the newest trailer for Persona 3 Reload. This time, it is the support and Oracle of the group, Fuuka Yamagishi. Voiced by Suzie Yeung.

The trailer opens up with a stray cat coming up to Fuuka and the Protagonist. She offers the cat her food but the cat scrambles away in fear. It sounds a bit like Morganna of Persona 5.  If you didn’t know already, Fuuka is not the best in regards to cooking. It then goes to play the game’s newest rendition of “Want to Be Close“.  We then see the two in a book-reading session. She asks if the protagonist has an interest in Science-Fiction novels, to which he replies he does. She’s happy at the fact that one can share interests with one another. She shared that she has an interest in electronics and is humble about it. Shows her personality of being shy, and soft-hearted, but has the drive to change and improve.

We then see Fuuka in action in Tartarus. Showing off new features that are not in the original game. It shows off Fuuka’s skills and has her play an active role in exploration. The skills we see are named Jamming, Slyphid Aura, and Shock Noise.  Jamming in Tartarus allows you to not be detected by Shadows on the current floor. We don’t know how the other skills will assist but we’ll find out eventually.  We then see her aiding the party with her summoning Lucia and giving a buff to the party. Lastly, we see the two tending to the rooftop garden of the dorm.  The two trimmed the leaves on the plants and she noticed how the trimmed leaves already grew back. Reflecting on how life is amazing after changes.

The next trailer is expected to be either Aigis or Koromaru. When the trailer airs next week, we will bring it here. You can see the previous trailer of Mitsuru Kirijo here.

Persona 3 Reload is set to release on February 2, 2024, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC Windows, and Steam.
