Peacock Teases Twisted Metal Season 2—The Tournament Begins!

By Keith MitchellFebruary 13, 2025
Twisted Metal Season 2 Official Teaser

Back in 2023, Sony Entertainment and Peacock brought the world of Twisted Metal to TV, and for a time, it was considered the best video game adaptation. It was an interesting and fantastic look at the Twisted Metal gaming world that many of us had played on our PlayStations—until the series stopped, leaving us wanting more.

Now, Peacock is teasing Twisted Metal Season 2, which picks up where Season 1 left off, diving into the actual tournament that was hinted at in the cliffhanger finale.

In this new trailer, John Doe (played by Anthony Mackie) gives us the rundown, providing a quick recap of Twisted Metal Season 1 and a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming season. It looks incredible, and just when you think it can’t get any better, the trailer teases us with a look at Calypso, the tournament organizer who can make your wish come true, albeit a demented version of it, and a brief glimpse of Axel. Fans of the series will instantly recognize him as the guy strapped between two massive wheels, a fate forced upon him by his father.

I loved Twisted Metal—both the games and the first season of the show—and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Check out the trailer below.

Twisted Metal Season 2 streams this Summer of 2025, only on Peacock.
