The Nintendo Entertainment Podcast is here, and with a unique week of news and a special Nintendo Direct, the team will be busy!

But first, the team discusses their gaming exploits! Todd had a blast at C2E2 and represented NEP proudly while also playing Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition quite a bit! As for Will, he rocked it out in the Splatfest while also enjoying Monster Hunter Wilds, Marvel Rivals, and more! Then, with Scott, he hasn’t played much, but he has played certain titles, including one about a girl kicking rabbits! Yes. Really.

In the news, there was a Mario Kart World Direct, and it dropped some new details for the upcoming Switch 2 launch title! Also, Phil Spencer loves the “partnership” with Nintendo, John Oliver makes tariffs clear regarding the Switch 2, Niantic lays off some of its staff after its big business deal, Banjo-Kazooie gets ANOTHER developer offering to work on the franchise, and more!

Finally, in the main event, after the comments of a certain ex-Sony head, the trio discuss what is “Nintendo’s identity” and what are the “true pillars” of its software lineup!

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!

Don’t forget that we want YOUR suggestions for opening themes for future episodes of the podcast! Send your NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, or Nintendo DS suggestions via Twitter! You can reach Tri-Force Todd at @Guardians_Comic, Skull Kid Scott at @SithScott, or Wario Will at @shadowz596! AND, you can reach us at our podcast handle @NEPPodcast!
